We moved to New Zealand from Devon, UK, in the early 80s, settling first of all on Auckland’s North Shore. We consider ourselves  privileged to have lived in the Rodney/Matakana area for nearly 20 years, combining hobby farming with careers in journalism, tourism and the Navy. Completing the family are two teenagers, a sheepdog and idle cat! An older son is currently working in the UK.
