Getting to Us

We are situated approx 8kms off the main highway north (State Highway One), some 90kms from central Auckland.
Those headed north from Auckland need to take the northern motorway over the harbour bridge, continuing on this highway towards Wellsford/Whangarei. Look out for Warkworth, some 64kms from the City. Continue past this historic township on SH One for a further 14kms.
Turn right (after the Hoteo Bridge) into Wayby Valley Road (signed Pakiri and Tomarata); follow road to the end. (If you miss the right hand turn and reach Wellsford you have gone too far….but just follow directions below for those coming from the north).
Turn right into Whangaripo Valley Road, and take the second road on the left. This is Tomarata Valley Road. We are 2kms along this road on the right hand side, just after a rocky outcrop on the left. Our number, 196, is on the wooden fence, and we also have a Bed & Breakfast sign.
If you are heading south from Whangarei or the Bay of Islands/West Coast you need to take State Highway One to Wellsford.
Turn left into Matheson Road (which becomes Whangaripo Valley Road) at the top of the hill before passing through the town. This road is sign posted Pakiri. Follow road for 6km to Tomarata Valley Road on your left (Tomarata Valley is the third road on the left along Matheson/Whangaripo Road). Look out for number 196 on your right, 2kms along road.
